Jobs and opportunities on F News

F invites anyone who has writing, editorial, design, illustration or photo skills to work with us as volunteer, freelancer, or staffer (some pay per contribution published).

Also, there are three ways of working with F for credit.
1) Designers can get 3 studio credits designing F, working with an award-winning staff and award-winning Tribune art director Michael Miner. Knowledge of photoshop required; portfolio review.
2) Work on F's on-line edition by registering for UGDIV 3015 E-Journal Design (Tues-Th 6-9 pm). Learn web design. No prerequisites, but photoshop or writing/editing skills a plus.
3) Develop writing and editing skills in LibEng1004 Writing for the School Newspaper (Tuesdays 9-12). Writing assignments are possible contributions to the newspaper.

job title: Advertising Manager/Office manager
job description: Manage advertising, office for F Newsmagazine. Sell ads for newspaper, stay in touch with advertisers and find new advertisers. Requires organizational skills, good communication skills for telephone contact work and sales. Graduate student preferred; undergraduates with relevant background and considerable job experience also invited to apply.
