Briefs

Security says:
Watch Your Stuff!

It would be nice to be able to trust our fellow art students not to rip us off, but lets get real. This is the city. Keep valuables in sight at all times. If you notice something is missing, report it immediately. The sooner security hears about it, the more they can do to try and get it back.

Don't use that rubber!
If you have any condoms from Sex Fest 2001, DO NOT USE THEM! They failed standard FDA testing and have been voluntarily recalled by the manufacturer. Serial # 061123. The Health Services has new condoms available free to anyone who asks (check out www.freecondoms.com).

Got School Spirit?
Student Hannah Simpson is developing a clothing line with our school's logo on it. (There was a contest last semester to make original designs for this and no one submitted anything. Look alive kids!) The pilot program will have sweatshirts, T-shirts, water bottles, and ball caps with The School of the Art Institute of Chicago emblazoned on them, and will be sold out of the Utrecht stores on campus. Future plans include student designed logos, an SAIC "mascot," and more elaborate merchandise like hoodies, socks, sweatbands, beanie hats, lingerie...

Got a teacher you love?
Nominations for the Faculty of the Year Award are now being accepted. Also: committee members are needed to read nominations and choose recipients. Contact Student Government for more info.
